Support for the Non-Chinese students to learn Chinese language
- Read & Write – Hong Kong Chinese Language Tiered Intervention Model for Junior Primary Students
- To launch a pre-test and post-test in order to assess listening, speaking, reading and writing ability levels. Upon which, teachers will adjust teaching content.
- After-school support class and Chinese enhancement class
- Summer bridging course
- NCS Support Plan: Ambassadors do shared reading with Non-Chinese students
- English version of all School Circulars and Parent’s Letters will be provided.
- A Non-Chinese speaking teaching assistant is employed to contact with Non-Chinese parents.
- Non-Chinese students will be learning with local students to create a Chinese learning environment.
