Introduction
Curriculum Purpose of Visual Arts
- The curriculum is designed to help students:
- Develop creativity, discerning thinking and communication skills, and cultivate aesthetic sense and cultural awareness;
- Develop artistic skills, construct knowledge and cultivate positive values and positive attitudes;
- Get pleasure, enjoyment and satisfaction from participating in art activities; and
- Cultivate a lifelong interest in art.
Achieve four learning goals:
- Develop creativity and imagination
- Develop skills and processes
- Develop appreciation for art
- Understand the concept of art
