Event Highlights
In September 2024, we invited parent volunteers to help our Primary One students during lunchtime. The goal of these volunteers was to strengthen the connection between families and the school through parent involvement. Their participation and guidance also helped educate the children about the importance of healthy eating and encouraged them to develop good eating habits.
In October 2024, the PTA organized a Second-hand School Uniform Sale for Charity.
The aim of this event was to raise funds for the school and enrich our resources.
All donations received from the sale were directly used to support student learning,
catering to the diverse learning needs of our students and helping every child develop their potential.
On October 18, 2024, the PTA hosted a Parent Seminar on Sharing Parenting Experiences. During this seminar, parents created "hydraulic vases" as a way to express their feelings about managing children daily. This activity allowed us to discuss effective parenting methods from different perspectives.
On November 2, 2024, the PTA organized a Lip Balm Making Activity.
The purpose of this event was to help parents understand the basic ingredients and functions of lip balm,
learn simple DIY skills, and improve their scientific knowledge and hands-on abilities.
We also encouraged parents to be creative to make unique lip balms.
Parents could also make lip balms as special gifts for family or friends, showing their love and care.
On November 8, 2024, the PTA organized an Influenza Vaccination Programme.
The aim of this programme was to vaccinate students against influenza,
reducing the risk of them getting sick from the flu.
On December 20, 2024, the PTA held its Annual General Meeting.
The purpose of this meeting was to improve communication by providing a platform for parents
and teachers to interact, fostering better understanding between them.
Another goal was to encourage cooperation between families and the school to promote students'
all-round development and academic achievement.
On March 2, 2025, the PTA organized a Family Fun Day.
The aim of this event was to strengthen parent-child relationships
by providing opportunities for family members to interact, enhancing their bonds
and emotional connection. Another goal was to improve social skills,
allowing children to learn to communicate and cooperate with others
through games and activities, thereby boosting their social abilities.
This academic year, the PTA also offered various Parenting Courses.
The purpose of these courses was to enhance parenting knowledge,
helping parents understand the latest parenting theories and methods to meet the needs
of children at different ages. Another aim was to improve communication skills,
teaching parents how to communicate effectively with their children to foster better
understanding and trust. Additionally, these courses provided practical strategies
and techniques to help parents handle common parenting challenges,
such as behavioural issues and learning difficulties.
