六年級 STEM 教育文化交流團 Day 3&4

六年級 STEM 教育文化交流團第三天行程:
第一站,學生出發參觀首里城,它是那霸市以東一座琉球式城堡,建造於13世紀末至14世紀之間,從15世紀至19世紀是琉球國都城和王宮的所在地,至今有500多年的歷史,學生從參觀過程中認識到琉球國建築及歷史文化。第二站,學生出發到Wonder Museum ,他們能透過不同有趣及新奇的互動遊戲來學習科學及自然的知識。午餐是享用沖繩拉麵,學生能一嘗當地特色的午餐。第三站,學生到達名護市立羽地小學與當地小學生進行各項文化交流,當地學生十分熱情地招待我們,與學生一起上課和進行不同的運動活動,讓學生能感受及認識到當地獨特的校園文化及課程,更讓學生與當地學生增進不少友誼。晚餐是品嘗當地特色的日式燒烤,學生們的肚子都滿載而歸,為今日一天的行程寫上美滿的一頁。

The third day's itinerary for P.6 STEM Educational and Cultural Exchange Tour:
Students visited Shuri Castle, a Ryukyu-style castle east of Naha City, on our first stop. It was built between the late 13th and 14th centuries. From the 15th to the 19th century, it was the capital and royal palace of the Ryukyu Kingdom. It has a history of more than 500 years. Students learned about the architecture and historical culture of the Ryukyu Kingdom. On our second stop, students went to the Wonder Museum, where they learned about science and nature through various interesting and novel interactive games. For lunch, students enjoyed Okinawa ramen, a local speciality. At the third stop, the students visited Hanezi primary school to conduct various cultural exchanges with local elementary school students. The local students welcomed us very warmly. We attended classes and participated in various sports activities with the students, allowing the students to feel and understand the local unique campus culture and curriculum, and also enhanced the friendship between the students and the local students. Dinner was a Japanese barbecue with local characteristics. The students returned with full stomachs, which marked a perfect end to the day.
(Since Okinawa Primary School prohibits outsiders from taking photos due to the right of portrait, there are no photos at the moment. However, Okinawa School has arranged a designated person to take photos, which will be sent to the school later for parents to view.)
六年級 STEM 教育文化交流團第四天行程:
第一站,學生出發參觀玉泉鐘乳石洞,它是日本第二大的鐘乳石洞,學生在洞內看到不同形狀的鐘乳石,讓他們認識到不少大自然知識。第二站,學生進入琉球王國欣賞技藝精湛的太鼓表演,這埸表演結合了擊鼓及舞蹈,讓學生能認識當地藝術文化。在觀賞精彩的太鼓表演後,學生便進行富有沖繩特色的藍染布藝活動,他們學習使用當地傳統技術製作獨一無二的藍染作品。最後,學生享用了當地特色便當後,便懷着愉快而又不捨的心情乘搭飛機回程香港了,亦為今次六年級 STEM 教育文化交流團寫下完美的句號!
The fourth day's itinerary for P.6 STEM Educational and Cultural Exchange Tour:
First stop, students set out to visit Gyokusen Stalactite Cave, which is the second largest stalactite cave in Japan. Students saw stalactites of different shapes in the cave, which allowed them to learn a lot about nature. At the second stop, students entered the Ryukyu Kingdom to enjoy a sophisticated Taiko performance. This performance combined drumming and dancing, allowing students to learn about local art and culture. After watching the wonderful Taiko performance, the students participated in the Okinawan-style indigo dyeing activity, where they learned to use local traditional techniques to create unique indigo dyeing works. Finally, after enjoying the local specialty lunch boxes, the students flew back to Hong Kong with a happy but reluctant mood, which also brought a perfect end to this Grade 6 STEM Education and Cultural Exchange Tour!
